The Anchorage Hotel & Spa provides good value for money, especially with full board options. Many appreciate the comfortable beds and spacious rooms, located a short walk (100m) from the beach and the Model Village. Breakfast offers a wide choice, though some guests have found the scrambled egg to be watery on occasion. Cary Park, ideal for dog walking, is also conveniently located just a short distance from the hotel's back door.

Okay stay, issues need addressing

small parkingfrayed carpet
The parking situation is far from ideal. The area is too small for the number of guests, and some drivers parked inconsiderately, blocking other vehicles. The breakfast offered was also quite basic. (Not what i expected.) The room and the hotel really need a complete refurbishment. I saw the carpet in my room was not secured and looked frayed.

Daisy at reception gave a great welcome. She suggested using the disabled ramps for our dog, which alleviated our concerns about the stairs. The breakfast was really good (i loved the pastries!).
The hotel definitely needs updating. It is very tired looking. The hot tap in my room was broken and was not repaired after reporting it to the maintenance. The duvet barely covered the top of the bed.
